As car makers stupefy to halt a decline that made 2007 their worst grade for sales in a decade, they are offering depleted financing rate, rebates, special lease deals and other incentives on a wider range of models than usual. Though car makers are building fewer vehicles, demand has slackened at a faster clip and inventories preserve to grow. The resulting glut federal agency buyers can acquire popular models -- including thriftiness cars, sport sedans and luxury SUVs -- for surprisingly low prices. It similarly means consumers are in their best position in age for cutting deals. While the most generous offers are advance from the Big Three U.S.

auto companies, popular foreign makers equivalent Honda Motor, Nissan Motor and BMW -- which rarely provide big incentives -- are association the party even though their sales have held up better than those of the U.S. firms.
