Epicureanism: The Good and The Bad What is Epicureanism? Epicureanism is the “art of making keep prosperous”. The philosophical system of Epicureanism was named after Epicurus, who founded the school in Athens. coincidently the school of calmness was founded at the same time in 307 B.C.
